ABOUT
“The future of humanity and indeed, all life on earth, now depends on us.” David Attenborough
Following the success of Deeds and Words last year, join us for another Festival weekend of events to inspire, challenge and entertain.
We have brought together authors, politicians, chefs, artists, campaigners and explorers - well-known names alongside local writers – listen, debate, explore and more.
The Festival will kick off on Friday night with a free panel discussion on The Politics of Climate Change, and continues into Saturday with speakers and discussions around the themes of climate change, living sustainably and the effects on the natural world.
Sunday is a family and workshop day with workshops for adults and children, alongside talks and performances.
Many events over the weekend are free or £5 or just pop in for a coffee and a cake from The Bakehouse and on Sunday browse the Producers Fair to find ways and means for you to live more sustainably.
